Bev is truly an expert and her knowledge is incredible! Im a massage expert so I know that Bev knows what she is talking about! Everything she promotes and does is exactly as I would recommend. From her sports science background she has extensive knowledge & lots of experience!
I like the way that Bev always checks that you are carrying out the movements correctly, because if you are not you can do more harm than good! It’s important to have a good teacher!! She tailor makes the session so it caters for all of your requirements. For me it is to super-tone my tummy for my beach lifestyle & to do deep core strengthening to keep me strong for my work, after having babies & tummy surgery.

I’ve just had a fabulous Pilates session at this amazing studio. I’m normally a hard core yoga person but was drawn to give Pilates another go. I’ve had a few lessons in the past (with other instructors) and didn’t really enjoy it but with Bev it was brilliant. She went through everything giving us options (for different levels) for each exercise and was always checking us (& where needed directing) our positions. She is really enthusiastic, clearly very experienced and really cared about us. It was a deep but somehow gentle workout and I felt really energised after it. (& the hour just flew by ...) ‘I came to Pilates after suffering a prolapsed disc and I was looking to strengthen my back and core to protect against future injury.  Bev's lessons have helped me to find a routine which enables me to build my strength, but also they have given me an insight into the importance of good posture and the benefits of maintaining overall body strength.  The Pilates techniques provide a great way to maintain flexibility and strength in a practical and achievable way.

What brought you to pilates? I have 2 friends who do Pilates and they knew I was having problems with my back and recommended I give it a try. One of them recommended you to me and the rest is history!

How has pilates has helped you? When I started I couldn’t support myself on my wrists - now I can. I used to have to crawl from the mat to the dresser to pull myself up - now I can get up by myself without support!

What are zoom lessons like? Lovely, I enjoy the challenge and the relaxation.

What’s your one to one like and how do you feel after? I look forward to my 1-1’s and feel really good afterwards. I play meditation music and use sweet orange essential oil so a feast for all the senses.

What are lessons with Bev like?! Try them and see! I did and have never regretted it.

Loved receiving this testimonial today: ‘Complications following a Hernia operation meant a sustained period of inactivity from the gym and sport in general. Regaining this strength proved more difficult than initially anticipated resulting in subsequent back-issues being highlighted, namely a prolapsed disc & arthritis in my facet joints. Various stretching and strengthening exercises were recommended by physio’s without any sustained improvement throughout meaning sport was limited specifically golf. Pilates with Bev was recommended to me as a possible route for permanent improvement. My first 1:1 with Bev with subsequent fortnightly sessions with daily practice in-between. Early March brought the first significant signs of improvement in strength and mobility Bev encouraged daily practice to enforce what we’d already built and by the time golf courses were open again after lockdown I was able to play a few holes pain free. I am now able to participate in all sports of my choosing without pain, even completing a 36 hole event in early September. I continue to practice Pilates every day. Thank you, Bev”

‘At the beginning of the year I was feeling very down. I felt extremely anxious about growing old. I turned 40 in February. I hate the thought of getting old, getting wrinkly and going grey. I was over weight and had stopped exercising. I used to run a lot and go to Bootcamp. I felt like that was a different person and not for me anymore.

Even after an operation I had in September I was able to return to class very quickly to do what I felt able to. If I tried to do too much Bev was quick to slow me down so I didn’t injure myself.
