I just really want to say that I love your classes so much. I am just so happy that I found you!

Living in France and trying to do all my business based in the UK has not always been very easy.

There is the stress that is attached to all that goes with running one's own business plus, when things go wrong!

Also when things go right... there is the downer afterwards sometimes.

So, after having signed up for your 1 hour Thursday class, I realised fairly soon that one class a week would not be enough!

As you know I am now 72 and even though I am in good health, there are the little niggles that happen the whole time.

I am also very scared of having an accident, particularly falling down the stairs. I don't know why this is. It keeps coming back to me. I always make very sure I hold firmly onto the handrail, and count the stairs as I go down them (this drives my husband up the wall but it helps me to stay in control of the stairs). I wonder how many other people count stairs...

Therefore I need to stay strong in mind and body to stay on top.

I also have a balance thing. This is new... Not yet very sure how to deal with it. But it helped me when you suggested Chair Pilates. I really don't want to have a fall just because I miss my balance! It's a bit as if my legs don't follow my brain fast enough and whoops, I stumble...

Although the Chair exercises are less strenuous, they are different from the Thursday class.

At first I thought Chair Pilates was not for me. However, I found myself doing Chair exercises at different moments throughout the day and realised that one can do a quick self-help with chair pilates exercises.

The exercises are easy and quick, and can be done almost anywhere.

This made me look at Chair Pilates from a totally different point of view. In fact, I find they complement the everyday Pilates.

Thank you very much, Bev, for introducing them to me.

Finally I would like to say that although I said the Chair Pilates were easier exercises, some are very difficult!!!

I can now easily get down on all fours to fish out toys (and worse) the cats have lost under the fridge!

I am also very aware of my posture and try to remember to sit and stand upright and not slouch!

Hopefully my ballerina posture will return at some point. Probably not totally as it was all too long ago.

Either way, I have become more and more aware of how much more I can do just because I exercise much more than I used to!

Another testimonial

I just wanted to say a big thank you Bev for inviting me to take part in your chair Pilates

It was a very helpful introduction indeed and very helpful to experience Pilates for the first time

I really appreciated your very kind and supportive approach to everything. Working on line from home is a really useful and convenient way of working. All you need is a stabler internet connection.
Throughout the session everything was perfect and I do not have high speed internet. The sound was clear and the picture quality excellent with no freezing or glitchin.
Bev's communication was absolutely perfect. Clear, concise, attentive and patient.

I have mobility and walking problems caused by Arthritis of the spine. I can not walk very far without a walking stick and being in pain.
Throughout the group session Bev was very attentive as to the abilities of each participant.

Bev’s manner is very friendly, careful, and accommodating along with her many years of professional experience teaching Pilates.

Bev made numerous adjustments and recommendations for each person individually according to their needs and I felt both supported and very safe throughout the session.

If Bev could see I was pushing myself too hard and finding the exercise routine difficult, Bev would call my attention to it and find an alternative more suited to my ability.

Bev did all of this with totally professional aplomb which did not impact the flow of the other participants in the session.
I have no hesitation at all recommending Bev’s services to anyone thinking of improving their health, wellness, and movement, regardless of whether they are young or like myself a senior citizen with mobility issues such I have.
Five Stars for quality. service and value. I am very happy to reccomend. I can not imagine anyone getting anything but the best working with Bev!
