September message

Happy September to you. What are your dreams? Work? Personal?

For me I want to move a stones throw from the beach, I have chosen my perfect location, now to make it happen in 2025!!

So I can stroll to the beach any time of the day!

Work wise a little dream is that my mindfulness Pilates classes are fully booked, I have just 30 spaces left to work with me in this tailored, transformational and affordable way then I won’t be offering any more classes

I have 4 spaces left this year for 121 mindfulness Pilates in September for the transformational programmes on zoom. Excited to see who I work with next, is that you!!?

Other work dreams are to have a de-stress membership to teach lots of breathing and de-stress techniques, help even more with mental health & to support during the good, challenging & sad times of life,

To sell a million copies of our books,

To work with more law firms, schools and companies for stress management workshops and programmes

To be an inspirational speaker at Fearne Cottons 2025 happy place festival, to be a guest on her happy place podcast

To be a guest on Dr Rangan Chatterjees feel better, live more podcast

To be a guest on Steven Bartletts Diary of a CEO podcast

More than anything to stay happy, well and inspired and live my dream lifestyle daily, which involves cafes, journaling, beach walks, plunging in the sea, nature time, parks, woods, quality time with my son, friends and family, lots of cappuccinos and posh vegan chocolate

This Septembers post was inspired by a chat with Susie Sprigg, telling me all about author of what’s your dream? Book by Simon Squibb. I loved hearing about Susie’s dreams and meaning behind her tattoos!!

and you?

Dream lifestyle

🌊 Every Friday morning I set the alarm a bit earlier (45 minutes earlier!), it wasn’t easy but once up and out was worth it to see the sunrise, enjoy a few minutes of breathing and calm on arrival at the beach on my own, beach walk with friends and group plunge in the sea and coffee ☕️ this is my big social of the week!! (My sort of clubbing! Without the clubbing!!) great way to start the day before work (I did have a little siesta to catch up on the sleep!!)

📝 As an introvert and someone who needs a morning routine all I manage to do before setting off is my daily 6 minutes mindfulness Pilates on the mat, the rest has to wait till later (journaling, affirmation cards, visualisation and goal setting, reading..)

💜 What daily time do you take for you and your mental health and wellbeing? What de-stresses you?

😊 I was so happy to be back at work this week after being ill for 2 weeks (that wasn’t fun)

June message

Happy June to you. Let June be your month, feel good as often as you can, to do the things you love, maybe to rest more, be creative or simply be more, be more with yourself, with nature, with your hobbies and passions, with your family or friends, if this was your last month, is this how you’d like to spend it? Know that sounds like a funny question but it’s a good place to start. Or if you’d prefer to reframe it to what brings you joy?

It’s often the little things that bring us joy, a bird singing, a sunset, the beauty of the sky and moon and stars, the colours of flowers and their innate beauty in a garden or park or even windowsill or balcony, do what makes you feel good, being in a cosy loving home, feeling happy after a laugh with good company, smiling at your child, family or friend, knowing you’re doing your best, knowing you are enough. Of course we strive and want more, but perhaps this moment is perfect simply stroking your dog, cat or pet with their adoring unconditional love. Add taste into the mix and enjoy your favourite foods and drinks.

EnJOY JUNE

When the clouds surface and thunder and lightning come along (a bad nights sleep or bad mood or difficult moment, know it will pass.) Remember happiness is a choice and we can steer our way any moment in a better direction, sad moments come and go, stress comes and goes but also assists us when we need it. Let’s embrace June and make the most of it

Chronic Fatigue recovery with Anna Marsh

My fatigue journey started with anaemia and glandular fever and ended with a car accident, domestic abuse, a divorce, autoimmunity, relocating and starting over. Despite a laundry list of physical, mental and emotional challenges, I was able to keep following my heart to live my dream lifestyle in my “happy place” on the South Coast in Dorset. I join Anna Marsh on the show to share my story, lessons learned and how pilates has been part of my healing journey.

Thank you Anna for having me as a guest on your podcast
